A beautiful transitional honey between light and dark varieties, this beautiful reddish mid-tone honey boasts a rich flavor reminiscent of earthy goodness.  No, it doesn't taste like caramel, but the flavor profile is reminiscent of the richness one thinks of.  This is a single-harvest variety from a hive high in Aikahi (near Kailua) on Oahu.  When it's gone, it's gone, so get it while we still have this earthy deliciousness.

Variety: Wildflower: Natural wildflower blossoms within 0-3 miles of the hive.

Taste Profile: A rich, mid-tone variety reminiscent of caramel smoothness and traditional taste with a subtle, yet sweet character.

    Color Profile: Amber/Auburn/Apricot

Honey should not be consumed by infants under one year of age.

We take pride in harvesting, processing and bottling our honey in clean, sanitary conditions.  Some of our honey varieties are bottled in a Certified Kitchen while others such as those sold at fairs and local markets are oftentimes processed in our home-based kitchen to reduce cost.   Home-based agricultural producers of honey are exempt from processing honey in certified food-processing establishments when certain conditions are met (Hawaii Rev. Statute

§328-79).  Home-produced products have not been inspected by the Department of Health and are labeled as such.  We firmly believe that there is no difference in the quality of product or sanitation between our bottling locations and guarantee that our honey is always straight from the hive, unprocessed or treated in any way.

NOTE: Due to Hawaii law (HAR 11-50-3), this honey variety is only available for sale locally.  Place your order online, select FREE LOCAL DELIVERY (for orders $50 and over) OR select LOCAL DELIVERY for orders less than $50 and a $5 delivery fee will be applied to the order--that's less than most shipping costs!)

and we'll contact you to arrange delivery island-wide.  Also, check our calendar for upcoming fairs and markets where you can find us and this amazing honey in person!  If you have any questions about ordering our honey, please us the Contact Us form and we'll be happy to assist.
